วัดอ่างสุวรรณ จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ ที่นี่เค้ามีโบสถ์ขนาดใหญ่ทำด้วยไม้ตาล ถือเป็นโบสถ์ไม้ตาลแห่งเดียวในโลกโดยโบสถ์แห่งนี้ไม่ได้มีดีแค่ความแปลก แต่กลับมีความสวยงามจนน่าทึ่ง ว่ากันว่าในการก่อสร้างโบสถ์แห่งนี้นั้นท่านเจ้าอาวาส ได้ออกหาต้นตาลจากชาวบ้านในหมู่บ้านต่างๆ โดยไม้ตาลที่นำมาสร้างจะต้องเป็นตาลที่มีอายุไม่ต่ำกว่า70-100 ปี เพื่อความแข็งแรงทนทาน ตัวอุโบสถมีความกว้าง 8 เมตร ยาว 29 เมตร สูง 16 เมตร มีเพียงคานล่าง และไม้เครื่องบนเท่านั้นที่ใช้ไม้ตะเคียน เพราะต้องรับน้ำหนักมากๆ บริเวณรอบๆ โบสถ์รวมถึงด้านหน้า ใช้ไม้ตาลแกะสลักลวดลายตกแต่งสวยงามบริเวณพื้นไม้ในอุโบสถเลือกไม้ตาลที่มีลายเส้นสวยงามในตัว ภายในมีพระพุทธรูปหลวงปู่ไทร เป็นพระพุทธรูปเก่าแก่ปางวันทาซึ่งแกะสลักจากไม้ไทร มีอายุกว่า 200 ปี เมื่อสร้างเสร็จโบสถ์แห่งนี้มีความสวยงามมาก จนกลายเป็นอีกหนึ่งที่เที่ยวที่ใครผ่านไปแถวประจวบคีรีขันธ์

ถ้ามาจากกรุงเทพฯ ไปตามถนนเพชรเกษม ถึงหลัก กม.ที่ 376-377 เลี้ยวขวาช่วงยูเทิร์นหนองหอย และวิ่งตามถนนลาดยางเข้าไปประมาณ 5 กิโลเมตร

Ang Suwan Temple, A large chapel made from palm wood, which is the only palm wood chapel in the world with a quaint and stunningly beautiful. The palm that used for the construction must be at least 70-100 years old for durability. The chapel has a width of 8 meters, a length of 29 meters, and a height of 16 meters. Only the lower beams and upper beams are using Takhian wood because it has to bear a lot of weight around the church include the front. Carved palm wood with a beautiful decorative pattern is used for the wooden floor. Inside, there is an old Buddha image of Luang Pu Sai carved from banyan wood over 200 years old. The temple is very beautiful and became another tourist attraction of Prachuap Khiri Khan.

From Bangkok, follow Petchkasem Road to milestone No. 376-377. Then, turn right at U-turn Nong Hoi, and drive along the paved road for about 5 kilometers.
