เกาะทะลุ เป็นเกาะที่มีหาดทรายขาวและน้ำใสๆ จนไม่คิดว่าจะอยู่ที่ประจวบฯ นี่เอง อีกทั้งยังเป็นจุดดำน้ำตื้น ที่มีทั้งปลาสวยงามและปะการังอีกหลายชนิดเยอะแยะมากมาย สำหรับใครที่รักท้องทะเล รักน้ำทะเลใสๆ ต้องไม่พลาดที่จะมาดำน้ำชมปะการังที่นี่อย่างแน่นอน เพราะมีทั้ง ปะการังเขากวาง ปะการังสมอง ปะการังดอกไม้  จะมีลักษณะรูปร่างยาวรี คือ หัวท้ายแหลม ตั้งอยู่แนวทิศเหนือและใต้ โดยชายฝั่งด้านตะวันตกนั้น จะเป็นบริเวณที่มีรีสอร์ท หาดทราย และทิวมะพร้าว จะค่อนข้างร่มรื่นมากๆ แต่ฝั่งด้านตะวันออกนั้น จะไม่มีหาดทราย มีเพียงผาหินสีแดง ไฮไลท์ของเกาะทะลุ นั่นเองค่ะ ส่วนชื่อของ เกาะทะลุ นั้นมาจาก ช่องทะลุ ที่เป็นโพรงขนาดใหญ่ทะลุถึงสองด้านอยู่ใต้เพิงผาคล้ายสะพานหินนั่นเอง ช่องนี้เกิดจากการสึกกร่อน เพราะคลื่นลมทะเลเข้ากัดเซาะอยู่เป็นหมื่นๆ ปี และ เกาะทะลุ สามารถเที่ยวได้ตลอดปีเลยค่ะ แต่ช่วงที่ดีที่สุด คือ ช่วงเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ ถึง เดือนพฤษภาคม ที่ท้องฟ้าจะใสและคลื่นลมก็จะสงบ

การเดินทาง

รถยนต์: จากถนนเพชรเกษมแยกซ้ายบริเวณกิโลเมตรที่ 399 ตามเส้นทางบางสะพาน-ชายทะเลไปประมาณ 10 กิโลเมตร ผ่านตลาดท่าเกวียนและตลาดบางสะพาน ถึงตลาดบางสะพานเลี้ยวขวาเข้าถนนบางสะพาน-หนองหัดไท ผ่าน อบต.พงศ์ประศาสน์ ไปอีก 10 กิโลเมตร จะมีทางแยกซ้ายมือ ตรงข้ามป้อมตำรวจ เข้าไปยังท่าเรือเกาะทะลุ รถโดยสารประจำทาง-ใช้บริการรถโดยสารจากสถานีขนส่งสายใต้ใหม่ รถโดยสารปรับอากาศกรุงเทพฯ-บางสะพานน้อย รถจะผ่านหน้าทางเข้าท่าเรือเกาะทะลุ ใช้เวลาเดินทางประมาณ 5 ชั่วโมงครึ่ง

By car: From Petchkasem Road, turn left at kilometer 399 along Bang Saphan - Seaside Road for about 10 kilometers, passing Tha Kwian Market and Bang Saphan Market.
