หาดเขาเต่า เป็นหาดขนาบเขาเต่าอยู่ 2 ด้าน เป็นหาดที่ยาวมากๆ ด้านหนึ่งเรียกว่าหาดเขาเต่า (หาดทรายใหญ่) ส่วนอีกด้านมีขนาดเล็กๆ แต่สงบมาก ก็ชื่อว่าหาดเขาเต่า (หาดทรายเล็ก) เขาเต่าตั้งอยู่ที่ตำบลหนองแก อยู่ห่างจากตัวอำเภอหัวหินประมาณ 13 กิโลเมตร โดยมีทางแยกจากถนนเพชรเกษม กิโลเมตรที่ 243–244 เลี้ยวซ้ายข้ามทางรถไฟไปอีกประมาณ 1 กิโลเมตรถึงวัดเขาเต่า มีรถโดยสารวิ่งระหว่างหัวหิน-ปราณบุรี ลงรถที่ปากทางเข้าวัด แล้วต้องต่อด้วยรถมอเตอร์ไซค์รับจ้าง ถ้ามากันหลายคนเหมารถสองแถวจากตัวเมืองหัวหินจะสะดวกกว่า (ถ้าเรียกแทกซี่จะแพงหน่อย) ตั้งแต่ที่ได้ไปหาดเขาเต่าฝั่งหาดทรายน้อยรู้สึกได้ว่าคนไทยไม่ค่อยจะไปกันเท่าไหร่แต่ฝรั่งจะชอบมากเพราะเป็นหาดที่สงบมากๆ มีแต่รถขายของกินนิดๆ หน่อยๆ เข้ามาขาย เป็นชายหาดที่เอาใจคนชอบหาดทรายสีขาวบวกกับน้ำทะเลสีสวยใสที่ระดับน้ำไม่ลึกจนเกินไป เหมาะสำหรับลงเล่นน้ำท่ามกลางบรรยากาศที่เงียบสงบ ยิ่งช่วงที่น้ำลงชายหาดจะกว้างใหญ่ น่าเดินเล่นชมวิวทิวทัศน์เป็นที่สุดหรือใครอยากจะถ่ายรูปเท่ห์ๆไปลงอวดเพื่อนใน Facebook ก็ยังได้

Khao Tao Beach is a beach on two sides of Khao Tao. It is a very long beach. One side is called Khao Tao Beach (Sai Yai) and the other side is small but very peaceful called Khao Tao Beach (Sai Noi). Khao Tao is located in Nong Kae Subdistrict. It is 13 kilometers from Hua Hin with a junction from Petchkasem Road, Km 243–244, turn left and cross the railway for about 1 kilometer to Wat Khao Tao. There are also buses running between Hua Hin - Pranburi. Get off the bus at the entrance of Wat Khao Tao then followed by a motorcycle taxi. If there is many people, renting a minibus from Hua Hin town will be more convenient. Khao Tao Beach, on the Sai Noi side, you can feel that Thai people don't go very often, but foreigners like it very much because it's a very peaceful beach. White sandy beaches and crystal clear waters that are not too deep. Suitable for swimming in a quiet atmosphere. The beach is wider at low tide suitable for walking and enjoying the scenery or taking pictures and post them on Facebook.

1. By Car: 13 kilometers from Hua Hin with a junction from Petchkasem Road, Km at 243–244, turn left and cross the railway for about 1 kilometer to Wat Khao Tao.
