วนอุทยานปราณบุรี คือโครงการพัฒนาป่าไม้ปากน้ำปราณบุรีอันเนื่องมาจากพระราชดำริของสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์พระบรมราชินีนาถ เป็นสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวเชิงอนุรักษ์ธรรมชาติ ที่มีเส้นทางให้เดินศึกษาระบบนิเวศป่าชายเลนเป็นระยะทางยาวกว่า 1,000 เมตร เพียงก้าวแรกที่เราได้เดินเข้าสู่ผืนป่าโกงกางร้อยปีแห่งนี้ ไอแดดร้อนๆ ของหาดปราณบุรี ซึ่งเป็นหาดที่อยู่ด้านหน้าของวนอุทยานก็คล้ายจะหายวับไป ไม่น่าเชื่อเลยว่าความร่มรื่นของผืนป่าโกงกางจะทำให้รู้สึกเหมือนหลุดเข้ามาในโลกที่มีแต่ธรรมชาติ เป็นศูนย์การเรียนรู้ระบบนิเวศน์ป่าชายเลน มีหาดทรายสะอาด ร่มรื่นตามแนวสนทอดยาวอยู่ทางด้านตะวันออกของ อุทยานฯ สามารถมองเห็นทิวทัศน์ของทะเล เกาะสิงห์โต เขาตะเกียบและเขาเต่าได้

Pranburi Forest Park is the Pak Nam Pranburi Forest Development Project due to the Royal Initiative of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit to create an ecotourism attraction. There is a 1 kilometers trail to study the mangrove ecosystem. Just by walking into this hundred-year-old mangrove forest, the hot sun from Pran Buri Beach seem to have dissappeared. A learning area of mangrove ecosystem with beautiful white sand beach. In addition, the panoramic view of Khao Takiab and Khao Tao can be seen on the east side of the forest park.

โดยรถยนต์ : ไปตามถนนเพชรเกษมสายเก่าจากอำเภอหัวหิน ไปประมาณ 16 กิโลเมตร หลักกิโลเมตรที่ 246 (บ้านหนองหอย) จะมีป้ายบอกทางแยกซ้ายมือเข้าไปวนอุทยานปราณบุรี ระยะทางประมาณ 4 กิโลเมตร

By car: Take the old Petchkasem Road from Hua Hin District for approximately 16 kilometers. At the 246th kilometer marker (Ban Nong Hoi), there will be a sign indicating a junction on the left to Pranburi Forest Park. The distance is about 4 kilometers.
