น้ำตกป่าละอู ประกอบด้วยน้ำตกป่าละอูใหญ่และ น้ำตกป่าละอูน้อย จัดเป็นน้ำตกขนาด 15 ชั้นโดยชั้นของน้ำตกตั้งแต่ชั้นที่ 5 เป็นต้นไป ตัวน้ำตกจะมีขนาดใหญ่ นักท่องเที่ยวสามารถเดินขึ้นไปได้ถึงน้ำตกชั้นที่ 7 เท่านั้น ส่วนชั้นที่อยู่สูงขึ้นไปจะอยู่ในป่าทึบ ยากต่อการเดินทางเข้าถึง และป่าละอูที่เอ่ยถึงนั้นเป็นผืนป่าในเขตอุทยานแห่งชาติแก่งกระจาน ซึ่งอุดมสมบูรณ์ไปด้วยป่าไม้และสัตว์ป่านานาชนิด ได้สนุกกับการดูสีสันของปีกแสนสวยแห่งผืนป่าที่มักออกมาตากปีกกลางแสงแดดอ่อนยามเช้าเพื่อสร้างความอบอุ่น สัตว์ที่พบเห็นได้ง่ายก็คือชะนี ค่าง ช้าง เม่น และนกหายากสายพันธุ์ต่างๆ อย่าง นกขุนแผนหัวแดง นกบั้งรอก นกหัวขวานใหญ่สีเทา นกคัดคูหางแพน จึงถือได้ว่าเป็นอีกสถานที่ที่เหมาะสำหรับมาดูนก

การเดินทาง

สามารถเดินทางจากกรุงเทพฯ และภาคเหนือได้โดยเส้นทางหลักหมายเลข A4 และถนนเลี่ยงเมืองหัวหินหมายเลข 4 เลี้ยวขวาจากถนนเลี่ยงเมืองที่สัญญาณไฟจราจรแรกเข้าสู่หัวหินถนนป่าละอู-หัวหิน (สาย 3219) หากเดินทางมาจากภาคใต้ให้ใช้ถนนเลี่ยงเมืองหมายเลข 4 ที่ไปทางจังหวัดเพชรบุรี เลี้ยวซ้ายที่สัญญาณไฟจราจร หากเดินทางจากหัวหิน ให้ใช้ถนนสายป่าละอู (3218) ไปถึงสัญญาณไฟจราจร แล้วตรงไปตามถนน (3219) อีก 50 กม. ร้านอาหารดุสิตาอยู่ด้านซ้ายมือของถนนระหว่างทางไปน้ำตกป่าละอูซึ่งเดินทางต่อไปอีก 10 กม. มีป้ายสีฟ้าที่ริมถนนของสมาคมการท่องเที่ยวของรัฐ

Pa La-U Waterfall consists of Pah La-U Yai Waterfalland Pah La-U Noi Waterfall. There are 15 cascades of the waterfall. From the 5th level upwards, the waterfalls are quite large. The visitors can walk up to the 7th level. The higher levels are dense forest, which is difficult to access and Pah La-U is a forest in Kaeng Krachan National Park which is rich with forests and wildlife. Enjoy the colors of the beautiful butterflies of the forest that often fly out in the morning with sunlight and warmth. The wild animals that are easily seen include gibbons, elephants, hedgehogs, and rare birds such as the red-headed trogons, green-billed malkohas, great slaty woodpeckers, rusty-breasted Cuckoos, etc. It is considered as another suitable place for bird watching.

Journey

Can travel from Bangkok And the north by the main route A4 and Hua Hin Bypass Road No. 4, turn right from the bypass road at the first traffic light to Hua Hin, Pala-U-Hua Hin Road (Line 3219). If traveling from the south, use Bypass Road No. 4 towards Phetchaburi Province. Turn left at the traffic light. If traveling from Hua Hin, take Pala-U Road (3218) to reach the traffic light and go straight along the road (3219) for another 50 km. Dusita Restaurant is on the left hand side of the road on the way to Pala-U Waterfall, which continues for another 10 km. There is a blue sign on the roadside of the State Tourism Association.
