วัดเขาถ้ำม้าร้อง ปัจจุบันเป็นสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวที่สำคัญของจังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ โดยการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทยได้สนับสนุนให้นักท่องเที่ยวทั้งชาวไทยและชาวต่างประเทศ เดินทางเข้ามาสัมผัสความสวยงามของหินงอกหินย้อยและบ่อน้ำศักดิ์สิทธิ์ มีหินย้อยรูปร่างลักษณะคล้ายหัวม้าอยู่ภายในถ้ำจึงเป็นที่ม้าของชื่อ เดินเข้าไปในถ้ำจะเห็นลักษณะหินย้อยที่มีรูปร่างคล้ายหัวม้าและมีบ่อน้ำศักดิ์สิทธิ์ ซึ่งเป็นบ่อน้ำที่นำไปใช้ในงานพระราชพิธีสำคัญต่างๆ เมื่อมีพิธีสำคัญ ๆ ทางวัดจะจัดพิธีตักน้ำทิพย์เพื่อนำไปถวายแด่ในหลวง เช่นงานพิธีครบรอบ 60 พรรษา และ 72 พรรษา และน้ำที่บ่อน้ำศักดิ์สิทธิ์แห่งนี้จะไม่มีวันแห้ง

Wat Khao Tham Ma Rong is such a major tourist attraction of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. The Tourism Authority of Thailand promotes this temple to both Thai and foreign tourists to come and experience the beauty of stalactites and stalagmites and the holy pond. It has stalactites shaped like horse's head inside the cave, so this temple was named as Tham ma (horse cave). The pond inside the cave is used in many important royal ceremonies like the king's birthday. Surprisingly, this pond has never dried up.

ห่างจากที่ว่าการอำเภอบางสะพานไปทางทิศใต้ประมาณ 2 กิโลเมตร จะเจอป้ายบอกทางให้เลี้ยวขวา เลี้ยวเข้าไปไม่เกิน 1 กิโลเมตร ก็จะข้ามทางรถไฟ พอข้ามทางรถไปก็ถึงวัด
