อ่าวมะนาว เป็นสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวแห่งหนึ่งในอำเภอเมืองประจวบคีรีขันธ์ จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ อยู่ห่างจากตัวเมืองประจวบคีรีขันธ์ไปทางทิศใต้ประมาณ 5 กิโลเมตร บริเวณอ่าวมะนาวมีทิวทัศน์สวยงาม ประชาชนทั่วไปสามารถเข้าไปพักผ่อนหย่อนใจได้ และมีบริการบ้านพักสำหรับนักท่องเที่ยว อ่าวมะนาวอยู่ในการควบคุมดูแลของกองบิน 5 และเคยเป็นยุทธภูมิในสมัยสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 2 เป็นอ่าวที่เหมาะสำหรับการเล่นน้ำ เนื่องจากพื้นทรายค่อยๆลาดลงสู่ภายนอกอ่าว ทำให้ระดับน้ำทะเลค่อยๆลึกตามระยะห่างจากฝั่ง กระแสน้ำและคลื่นไม่แรงนักเนื่องจากมีภูเขา บังกระแสน้ำและลมไว้ทั้ง 2 ข้าง จึงมีความปลอดภัยสำหรับนักท่องเที่ยวมาก และพื้นทรายมีลักษณะละเอียด มีชายหาดกว้างเหมาะสำหรับนอนพักผ่อนบนเก้าอี้ชายหาด

การเดินทาง 

รถยนต์ : จากเทศบาลเมืองประจวบฯ ไปทางทิศใต้ตามถนนสละชีพ ถึงสามแยกเลี้ยวขวาเข้าทางหลวงหมายเลข 3167 ผ่านสนามบินกองบิน 5 ถึงอ่าวมะนาวระยะทางประมาณ 15 กิโลเมตร หรือจากอ่าวประจวบใช้ถนนเลียบหาด

รถโดยสารประจำทาง : ลงรถที่ท่ารถประจวบคีรีขันธ์ แล้วต่อรถจักรยานยนต์รับจ้าง

รถไฟ : ลงรถที่สถานีรถไฟประจวบคีรีขันธ์แล้วต่อรถจักรยานยนต์รับจ้าง  

Ao Manao is one of the tourist attractions in Mueang District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. It is about 5 kilometers from Mueang District. Ao Manao area has beautiful scenery, where is a suitable place for relaxing, accommodation is provided for tourists. Ao Manao is under the supervision of Wing 5, Royal Thai Air Force and was once a battlefield during World War II.  A good place for swimming because the sandy floor gradually slopes down to the outside of the bay, causing the sea level to gradually deepen as the distance from the shore. Also, the currents and waves are not so strong due to the mountains. It covers the current and wind on both sides, so it's safe for tourists. The beach has a fine sand texture with the vast area for relaxing on a beach chair.

Journey 

Car: From Prachuap Municipality to the south along Salacheep Road To the intersection, turn right onto Highway 3167 through Wing 5 Airport to Ao Manao, a distance of about 15 kilometers or from Prachuap Bay, use the beach road.

Bus: Get off at Prachuap Khiri Khan Bus Terminal and then take a motorcycle taxi. 

Train: Get off at Prachuap Khiri Khan Railway Station and take a motorcycle taxi.
